AI and EdTech
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
AI is transforming teaching and learning, offering new possibilities while raising concerns about privacy, bias, and its role in education. NIC’s AI principles provide a framework for ethical, effective use and are regularly updated to reflect best practices and evolving regulations.
Guiding Principles
This page outlines how AI can be integrated into teaching and learning at NIC while balancing innovation with human judgment and addressing considerations such as privacy, bias, and responsible use.
Using AI at North Island College
This page provides guidance on clearly communicating expectations around AI use in your course, including transparent course outline statements and the AI Assessment Lanes framework.
