Activate Welcome Widget

The Wel­come Pop-up Win­dow (Quick Guide) in Bright­space allows instruc­tors to dis­play an impor­tant mes­sage to stu­dents when they first enter a course. This fea­ture is use­ful for shar­ing time-sen­si­tive announce­ments, ori­en­ta­tion details, or key reminders at the start of term. Once acti­vat­ed, the mes­sage appears auto­mat­i­cal­ly upon course entry and can be updat­ed or dis­missed at any time. Once a user dis­miss­es the wid­get it will no longer pop up unless the instruc­tor adds anoth­er page to the mod­ule. You can view the pop-up at any time by click­ing the ‘Launch Quick Guide’ but­ton on the Wel­come Win­dow Wid­get avail­able on the Course Home­page.
