Checklists

The Check­lists tool in D2L Bright­space helps keep stu­dents orga­nized by clear­ly out­lin­ing required tasks and mile­stones in a course. Instruc­tors can use check­lists to high­light week­ly expec­ta­tions, assign­ment steps, ori­en­ta­tion activ­i­ties, or major project com­po­nents.

Check­lists are not grad­ed and do not auto­mat­i­cal­ly track com­ple­tion, but they pro­vide a sim­ple, visu­al way for stu­dents to mon­i­tor their own progress and stay on track. They’re espe­cial­ly help­ful in online or blend­ed cours­es where clear struc­ture and pac­ing guid­ance sup­port stu­dent suc­cess.
