Aug 27 — 1:30 — 2:30 pm An introduction to Brightspace. Learn how to navigate key tools, set up your course, add materials and communicate with students. This session is aimed at instructors who have minimal or no experience with Brightspace. By the end of this session, you should know how to access your Brightspace courses, where to find different tools and what they can do, and how to make your course visible to students.

Aug 29 — 1:30 — 2:30 pm New to Brightspace Gradebook? This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the basics of setting up and managing your gradebook. Learn how to create categories, enter grades, and provide meaningful feedback to support your students’ success.

Sep 4 — 10:30 — 11:30 am An introduction to Kaltura Virtual Classroom, NIC’s official web conferencing platform for instructional use in all online classes, courses, and virtual office hours. Learn how to access and launch meetings from both Brightspace and NIC’s MediaSpace, set up persistent meeting rooms, and use essential features like screen sharing, breakout rooms, chat, whiteboard, and recording.
