Kaltura
While all NIC Kaltura content will continue to be hosted on Canadian servers, as of January 2026 all BCNet institutions, including NIC, will align with the U.S.-based Kaltura SaaS, allowing NIC to receive regular platform updates in line with Kaltura’s main release cycle. Kaltura operates under provincial and federal shared service agreements for post-secondary institutions.
