About CTLI

The Centre for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI) is dedicated to supporting high-quality teaching and student-centered learning at North Island College. We work with instructors to enhance teaching practices, foster meaningful student engagement, and support the effective use of learning technologies across face-to-face and virtual learning environments. Through evidence-informed approaches to pedagogy, curriculum development, and program review, CTLI helps instructors design and refine high-quality learning experiences.

Support is tailored to instructors’ needs and is available through one-on-one consultations — virtual or face-to-face — as well as through questions and guidance provided via Teams or email.
