Logs (Tracking Activity History)

In Bright­space, activ­i­ty logs can be accessed direct­ly with­in each of the fol­low­ing tools.

  • Grades (Found under More Actions): This log is par­tic­u­lar­ly help­ful in set­ting up your grade­book and track­ing your man­age­ment of stu­dent grades. See more here in D2L Bright­space Com­mu­ni­ty Help page.
  • Assign­ments (Found under More Actions): this log is use­ful because it pro­vides a detailed record of stu­dent sub­mis­sions and activ­i­ty, which can sup­port trou­bleshoot­ing and clar­i­fy time­lines
  • Quizzes (Found under Attempt link under a stu­dent sub­mis­sion): You will see the Quizzes Event Log and can explore when the stu­dent start­ed the quiz, saved each ques­tion, sub­mit­ted and com­plet­ed the quiz. See more here in D2L Bright­space Com­mu­ni­ty Help page.
