Course Feedback Surveys

North Island Col­lege (NIC) has an insti­tu­tion­al course feed­back sur­vey that pro­vides instruc­tors with con­fi­den­tial input from stu­dents at both the mid-point and end of a course. The sur­vey is an infor­mal, for­ma­tive set of ques­tions designed to gath­er feed­back on what is work­ing well and where enhance­ments could be made. Its pur­pose is to give stu­dents a voice in their learn­ing expe­ri­ence while also pro­vid­ing instruc­tors with insights to sup­port stu­dent learn­ing and their own pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment.

The Cen­tre for Teach­ing and Learn­ing Inno­va­tion man­ages this sur­vey ser­vice. At present, the ser­vice is not avail­able to Con­tin­u­ing Edu­ca­tion or Acces­si­ble Edu­ca­tion and Train­ing pro­grams. By default, each course is opt­ed OUT of the sur­vey.
